Scott Moody serves as Chief Technology Officer at OtisEd, where he leads the company’s technology vision and drives innovation across its education data and software platforms. In his role, Scott is focused on building high-performing teams and delivering scalable solutions that support data-driven decision-making for education systems.
Scott brings over three decades of experience in product development, business intelligence, and technology leadership. Before becoming CTO, he spent nearly a decade as Vice President of Product Development at OtisEd, where he led research and development of new products and enhancements. Earlier in his career, Scott held leadership roles at organizations including Hewlett-Packard, Bellsouth, Atlanta Gas Light, and IBM, specializing in product management, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. He began his career in systems engineering, business development, and consulting roles, building a strong foundation in both technical and business domains. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Outside of work, Scott is a cross-country running coach and enjoys running and hiking with his golden doodle, Grits.
