Steve leads the design and implementation of next-generation educational technology platforms at OtisEd. He is currently driving the transformation of enterprise edtech through AI-native engineering, focusing on shifting development workflows toward AI-augmented, specification-driven models that enhance delivery speed and architectural integrity.
With over 30 years of experience in IT leadership, Steve has co-founded a successful tech consultancy and delivered enterprise-grade software solutions across the government, healthcare, and insurance industries. His career is marked by leading high-impact, state-wide initiatives, including the technical architecture of the Data-Driven Decision-Making (DDDM) platform for North Dakota and centralized BI systems for South Dakota and Louisiana. A Microsoft Certified Trainer and MCITP Charter Member, he possesses deep expertise in cloud-native solutions, data warehousing, and system integration.
Steve holds a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans. Outside of his professional work, he is passionate about spending time with his family and building and programming Lego robots.
