Jonathon works across every layer of a project: partnering with stakeholders to shape requirements, designing the data models and distributed systems to meet them, and driving implementation to deliver and support a performant solution.
He brings 18 years of experience supporting, designing, and building large data systems, with a career that spans technical implementation, complex architecture, and leading large client-facing organizations. Before Otis, Jonathon served as Director of Software Development for a population health firm, where he architected performance-critical healthcare measurement and risk-adjustment models, and built the financial systems behind $250M+ in physician compensation. Earlier, he built and led client services organizations of up to 130 people for an EHR provider. He holds a BS in Mathematics from Indiana University East, where he was named Chancellor’s Scholar in Natural Science and Mathematics.
Outside of work, Jonathon is a technologist at heart, with interests in type theory, language design, and cryptography. A Linux/FOSS enthusiast for over 25 years, he closely follows the open-source world. When away from the keyboard, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and daughter, reading, and keeping up with the world of aerospace.
